Assignment 1 (Industry Visit 1)

The first industry visit was to the UTMDigital Open Day, which was held over two days on 28 and 29 October 2025 at UTMDigital. During this visit, I attended a talk delivered by Sir Mohd Muhamad Zin on the topic of Oracle Academy. The talk provided valuable insights into industry-relevant digital skills, certification opportunities and how Oracle Academy supports students in preparing for future careers in technology. This vlog was created to provide an overall overview of the visit, highlight the key activities during the UTMDigital Open Day and present the main points shared during the talk. Through this assignment, I was able to improve my communication skills, video presentation skills, and ability to summarize important information in a clear and engaging way.

From the industry visit and talk, I gained a better understanding of Oracle Academy and how digital technologies are applied into real-world industries. At the same time, I also learned the importance of networking and involvement in professional presentations. The experience gave me some ideas on how to create engaging video blogs and present information clearly to the audience.

For improvement, it would be helpful if the Open Day included more hands-on activities or interactive sessions for a deeper understanding. A guided tour or demo stations could make the visit more engaging and fascinating.

From my view, I realized that documenting events through a vlog requires planning, clear narration and capturing key moments. This opportunity helps me to enhance the related skills that can be applied in future assignments and professional communication.
